Key Account Manager/Business Developer

To strengthen our sales team, we are looking for a Key Account Manager/Business Developer for the northern economical region of Germany.

In this position, you are responsible for the acquisition of new clients in your region. You will lead the complete sales process from first contact to closing the contract. Your specialist knowledge, practical experiences and feedback from customer meetings as well as the participation at events are valuable input to expanding our product and services portfolio. Direct report will be the Sales Director.

Your main responsibilities include:

  • Client acquisition, selling compliance trainings and services, online trainings and learning platforms
  • Lead and supervision of the complete sales process, from initial contact to contract closing
  • Analysing and structuring compliance specific cases
  • Pro-active research and contacting potential new clients, also in new segments (prospecting)
  • Professional advice to clients and prospects
  • Developing client-specific requirements and solution concepts
  • Drafting and negotiating proposals with clients
  • Close collaboration with compliance partners, programme managers and external partners
  • Representing Idox Compliance at events

Your profile:

  • University degree in business administration, business sciences or similar
  • At least three years of working experience, preferably in selling solutions and/or in a consultative role in professional training/e-learning
  • Experience in compliance or integrity/ethical management are an additional advantage
  • Strong analytical and conceptual skills, with a structured way of thinking and acting
  • Professional and confident demeanour with convincing presentation skills on all decision-making levels
  • Ability to work independently and target-oriented, affinity to developing business solutions
  • High willingness to travel (sales appointments, client meetings, events)
  • International experience
  • Team-player
  • Driving licence ‘B’ or international equivalent
  • Native German speaker, very good command of the English language, Nordic language skills are an advantage
