Idox job: freelance workers (13-15 €/hour) for inhouse content team (bi-lingual)

RESEARCHconnect is Idox's flagship funding service providing information on thousands of funding opportunities dedicated to the International research community. Focused on researchers at all levels of academia – from undergraduates to senior career researchers – and also including a spectrum of funding opportunities for universities and research institutes, the service offers a comprehensive one-stop-shop of funding information.

The opportunities featured cover a breadth of funders, including major international initiatives as well as national opportunities making it easier than ever for users to find funding for their research projects, no matter how big or small.

Idox is looking to expand its pool of freelance workers who support one of its in-house content teams to provide a funding service, which is focused on the German and International research community.

Opportunities are available to help us produce summaries of research funding initiatives and create news items. A very good standard of written English and the ability to convert academic text from German to English are prerequisites. Ideally, we are looking for individuals who are fluently bi-lingual. The work will also be of interest to people with experience in copywriting or academic research.

Contracts (13-15 €/hour) can be for a few hours a week, or a few days, and undertaken at times to suit you. The work is either home-based or can be based in the Idox Germany office in Berlin or The Netherlands office in Goor. It involves you using your own computer equipment, broadband line and bandwidth. Full training will be provided.

At the moment we are seeking expressions of interest. Please send a copy of your CV, plus an indication of how many hours per week you would like to work, to Roel de Vrind and Kathryn Andrews at grants.research[at]
