E-learning on Antitrust Law

Acting in Accordance with Antitrust Law

Again and again, companies violate applicable law by engaging in illegal bid rigging or price fixing, for example. The uncovering and prosecution of such activities are issues that increasingly affect all industries and companies of all sizes. In response to antitrust violations, international competition authorities impose fines that may reach several hundred million euros. “If companies do not want to become embroiled in unlawful agreements by their employees, then it is the companies’ responsibility to reduce this risk through the intensive training of employees – even at the corporate management level – in regard to anti-trust matters.” This statement by Dr. Ulf Böge, the former president of the German Federal Cartel Office, underscores the urgent need for employee training in anti-trust compliance.

Our training program ‘Fair Competition’ supports you in the company-wide implementation of preventive training measures. It provides your employees with a comprehensive overview of the topic antitrust law. Numerous industry-specific practical examples help your employees develop a sense for which types of conduct, agreements, and decisions are legal under antitrust law and which are not. Thus, it supports your company in complying with the applicable legal requirements.
